A walk in the park

Althought Seattle is known for it's rain and constant gray, I think because of it, there are a lot of happenings to lift the spirits, during this dreary time of year. All along the lake's 3 mile walking trail, a myriad of luminaries light the way. Groups of carollers and quartets camped alongside the path, sang and played Christmas tunes as we walked by. People and their dogs wore strings of Christmas lights and Santa's hats. Even with the temperature ranging in the low 40's, with a cup of hot chocolate, it couldn't stop us from taking a walk in the park.
